About The Artisan

Piatra was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her passion for the arts was cultivated after many years of visiting museums and theaters. She attended Hampton University for undergrad to study costume design. After working as a stylist, she discovered a passion for accessories and transitioned to jewelry design. She completed her studies in Florence, Italy at Lorenzo de Medici Institute. 

Pietra by Piatra began operation in Florence, Italy in 2017, specializing in sterling silver, gold and brass.
